The Board of the Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) Inter-American Division convened its first official meeting for 2024 at the prestigious El Panamá Hotel in Panama City on January 29 and 30. The two-day session brought together board members for strategic planning, fellowship, and key decision-making to guide the organization’s mission and operations for the year ahead.
One of the central items on the agenda was the final review and selection of the venue for the upcoming 2024 ASI Inter-America Convention. Following a thorough evaluation process that included site visits, logistical assessments, and collaborative discussions, the Board unanimously agreed to confirm the RIU Hotel in Panama City as the official location for the highly anticipated event.
In addition to formal board deliberations, the gathering featured a team-building dinner and interactive brainstorming session, fostering deeper connections among board members and promoting a spirit of collaboration and innovation. These informal moments of fellowship allowed members to exchange ideas, strengthen their shared vision, and prepare for an impactful year of ministry and professional outreach.
