Held under the theme “The Nuts and Bolts of Servant Leadership,” the event attracted over 100 participants from across the region.
This year’s conference featured a distinguished panel of international and regional scholars:

Dr. Shawna Vyhmeister, Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies
Dr. Daniel Allida and Dr. Devon Crossfield, Northern Caribbean University
The program, which ran from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST, offered in-depth presentations on critical aspects of servant leadership including:
Servant Leadership in Practice
Servant Leadership and Effective Organizational Management
Effective Servant Leadership: The Power of Example
Unique Features in Servant Leadership based on Research-Based Evidence
The conference stood out for its interactive and engaging format, with participants actively contributing through questions and discussions. The diversity of the audience was reflected in the nearly 10 translators who ensured the sessions were accessible in English, Spanish, and French, making the event truly multilingual and inclusive.
Hosted virtually and promoted through www.asi.interamerica.org, the conference was free and open to all, in line with ASI’s mission to equip professionals and lay leaders with practical, Christ-centered leadership tools.
Participants praised the quality of the presentations and the opportunity to engage with leading experts in leadership and ministry. The collaboration between ASI Inter-America and NCU continues to strengthen the leadership capacity within the Adventist community, fostering a culture of service, integrity, and excellence.
Plans are already underway for the next edition of the leadership conference, as ASI-IAD continues its commitment to empowering leaders across the Inter-American Division.
